Week 17 ( FYP 2 )


Activity:
From last week activity, the student already submitted the second draft for the supervisor to check on. This week, the student gets the supervisor response which is this report is ready to proceed. The student then proceeded to print the report in hardcover. The hardcover print is need time for 3 days to print. Below is the report with hardcover.

After the hardcover report is ready, the student now needs to submit the soft copy of the report and all the mention material needed into FYP website. The figure below from FYP website shows the needed materials for softcopy submission.

After the submission, the indicator on the student name will put as ''yes'' as an indicator showing the student already submit the softcopy.

All the softcopy of the report is submitted successfully and then after the softcopy matter is settled; the student now needs to meet the FYP coordinator to check out for the format. After the format checking is done, now the student needs to go to the library to submit the hardcopy of the result.

Conclusion:

To conclude this week activity, all objective stated is successfully achieved. This is the last week of the FYP 2 progress report is updated and from here, all the project making, and report completion is done and the FYP 2 is successfully complete.

Week 12 - 16 ( FYP 2)


Activity:

For these 5 weeks, I continue completing my Final report of project. Sometimes I went to meet my supervisor to ask about my final report if anything need to change. Also, during this time I need to change my supervisor because Dr. Reyasudin stop teaching at UniKL BMI and start working at other University. My new supervisor was Abdul Malik Bin Mohd Ali. Below shown the profile of my new supervisor.



Also, at week 14 (1/11/2019), I got my last which talk about the “Workshop on Writing Technical Paper”. In this session, I learnt of the format of writing the technical project based on my project. The maximum page of technical report that can be written is only 8 pages.

After finished my Final Project report, I started writing my technical report and need to send it to FYP unit and my supervisor.

Week 11 ( FYP 2 )


Activity:
The Final Year Project presentation was conducted at Dewan Gemilang British Malaysian Institute at 8am to 12.00pm.

The figure above shows the profile of the assessor that will assess my presentation. It should be two assessors.  unfortunately, Dr. Kanendra cannot came when the Exhibition Day. Then the accessor was replaced from the INT Innovation Sdn. Bhd. named En. Izham Bin Nordin. The figure below shows the profile of the accessor from industry.

Week 10 ( FYP 2 )


Activity:

For this week, I attend the 3rd briefing for FYP2 which talk about “FYP 2 Exhibition Day and Submission date for Final Report and Technical Report”. In this section, the FYP 2 coordinator explain about the tentative during the Exhibition Day. Each of the student will had 2 assessors to access us. As for me, I got Madam Norrolhoda Bt Sanif and Dr. Kanendra Naidu Vijyakumar to access me to my presentation.
As for the banner, I already print it out last week. The banner was containing the objective, project description, methodology, flowchart, result and conclusion of my project. Below shown the banner that been printed out.

Week 9 ( FYP 2 )


Activity:
This week, I continue to collect the data from the project. Based on previous data, the brown turbine was selected to further experiment because it has the highest average of voltage generated by the AC generator. Then the brown turbine was tested by using 2 different water flow rate which is 1000 ℓ/h and 1500 ℓ/h.  Below shown the data of voltage, current, and power generated by using 1000 ℓ/h.

From the 2 table above, I generate a graph of power based on the power generated by the different flow rate. Then the conclusion been made.



After the data being collected, I started to make a preparation for FYP 2 Exhibition Day. I completed the slide shows that will be used when the presentation occurs and make a final check up for my project running smoothly when presentation.
